So wait, your “very simple question” is “what if this thing that is a complete hypothetical happened?”

Is this actually what happened or are you just making up a scenario? Was the other option exactly the same but without the potential for revenge porn? This is pure victim blaming.

Good insight.

I was going by what Devery Jacobs said, her words were “prefer to see a $200 million movie by an Osage filmmaker” ...

Thanks for articulating what I was having difficulty expressing.

Far be it from me to challenge a Native person’s reaction to a movie focused on a Native story, but to her penultimate point, the “massive Fuck You to the real life, white Oklahomans, who still carry and benefit from these blood-stained headrights”...is that not also what this movie is trying to say?

Okay, fine, but that’s you. Why would you care what other people choose to do, consensually, with their significant others?

She didn’t put it out there in perpetuity. She filmed something live that was archived without her knowledge or consent.

Regarding your last paragraph, that’s mainly what I was getting at. Your average person who has some money for a car probably doesn’t need to do some fancy investing to beat the interest rate.

I’ve heard the whole “invest the money and get a better return” argument from many different sources, but I’ve never been able to wrap my head around it. So I guess the conceit is, if you have $35k or so lying around, rather than buying a new car, you should put that money into “the market” whatever that means, and

It’s incredible that the rest of the GOP candidates are bickering amongst themselves, and Trump is surging ahead saying stuff like “U.S. ... us. Has anyone ever thought of that before? Did I just make that up?”

Was looking for this comment. Touch screens are the goddamn worst and everyone who defends them doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

Friendly reminder that if you bet on the police version of events being a lie, you will win that bet 100% of the time.

That’s an NA 944 from 1985? Did they replace the front end with the S2/Turbo version?

This makes her seem even more insufferable than I already thought she was.

This seems strange to me because I thought a lot of the strike wasn’t directly about money, it was about the studios doing things like scanning an actor and owning their likeness in perpetuity for a $200 fee. Not sure how lifting a cap on union dues would stop the studios from doing stuff like that.

So this will get buried in all the replies but I just wanted to say his BS in Physics has largely been revealed as bought and paid for by his VC friends, it’s unlikely that degree is even as valid as it seems.

Re: the Billie Eilish back tattoo...what...is it?

I actually like it at its current length. There are certain movies that it’s jut fun to get lost in, especially period pieces that go out of their way to create a lost sort of world and atmosphere.

I remember seeing James Holzhauer for the first time and thinking “He looks like one of my college roommates, also named Holzhauer, who was also from Naperville, IL...”
