This morning I’ve been followed by five fine “people” trying to sell, respectively, bubble wrap, masking tape, kraft paper, postal bags, and pallet wrap. I am amused.
Whenever I wear footed tights, the seam of the tights twists around and ends up under the ball of my foot and I end up with blisters on the bottoms of my feet. Is this just me? Anyone know how to prevent it? It never happens with socks, just tights or pantyhose.

I read this essay in Elle recently by a woman who was blown off by a doctor only to later be diagnosed with bone cancer. It’s heart wrenching, and she also did quite a bit of research on gender bias in health care.
