There’s STILL no Trek on TV. That’s a downright shame.

A lot of the theaters began banning costumes many years ago, before the Aurora shooter. It’s same reason you cannot wear a mask into a lot of stores/restaurants. All about security.
Hahaha, this is a fair, and much more reasonable approach... sooo all agreed, this movie should be sweet.
I completely agree that “let them handle it like adults” is very idealist that doesn’t exactly work anymore, but continuing to impose rules because that line of reason doesn’t work, is exactly why it doesn’t work anymore. People rely too heavily on a rule being set as a code of behavior rather than common sense and…
No, they tried to have it both ways: Reboot and in-continuity with the original. Just because your setting’s assumptions allow you to do this without your SF-savvy fanbase immediately going “WHA...?”, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
It was neglected, but both were done for the same reasons - refreshed/renewed “modern” versions of fan favorite characters in lieu of trying to break new ground and create new characters.
I agree, if I asked someone if they wanted to go out and get something to eat and they just said “No.”, I wouldn’t ask again.
Exactly what I was thinking. You're going to be at a movie. Nobody, short of the hour before and the exit after will be looking at your hard work. Save it for the proper venue.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s 100% just the danger factor, but the pain in the ass factor of people in big outfits, big helmets and masks infringing on other people’s enjoying the movie, or having to wash face-paint from their clothes because that shit can spread like a virus.
I would never suggest that writers shouldn’t play around with Batman and Bruce Wayne, especially since it’s been through some pretty crazy experimentation that we got stories like Dark Knight Returns, etc. However, I never much cared for the fascist Batman or still-grieving Bruce Wayne. I always wanted to believe his…
Is it totally wrong of me that I actually really want this to happen, because I think it would be much more interesting than a basic retread of the main beats of the Dark Knight Returns?
Wasn't an argument. That was inspirational passion in its purest form. It was too much passion for Jerry, who has since come around on the subject.
“Great! Ratliff’s available!”
You ain’t alone.
I know I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t like how Harley looks for Suicide Squad movie. I don’t like the white blonde hair with pink and blue accents or the trashy outfit. I know it looks more like her video game appearances and her new 52 look than her original appearance, but I think there is middle ground…
why Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne is an angry man
“He’s found himself in a place of harbouring a tremendous amount of rage for Superman. So it’s how he got there, and what that’s done to him, and what that’s done to people around him like Alfred, who are, I think, very scared and worried for him. It’s something that’s interesting and new.”
