Oh god. I thought it was just me. Polyester is the worst—and it seems like so many “higher” end brands (Ann Taylor, J Crew, Anthropologie) are now going that route as well. I don’t want to pay $75+ for a top that absolutely reeks upon wearing it. Arrrrgh.

I love it when couples have rhyming names. I’ve known both a Gary & a Terry, and a Meryl & a Beryl. Both couples were awesome and together for decades.

I noticed this as well. She knows exactly what she is doing, and it’s so GROSS.

I know. I told my husband that while I was sad the series was over (it’s been a great weekly distraction from all the stressful current events happening), I wouldn’t necessarily want it to be drug out into more episodes. Celeste & Perry’s relationship was gut-wretchingly stressful to watch and see unfold. I was having

Yup, thisss. It’s also managed to morph into an absolutely insane fan club. It’s a complete cult of personality—his most ardent followers want to believe SO badly that he is going to “help” them that they not only approve of his political profiteering, they happily encourage it. They view his newly found riches are

It’s always kind of chilling to see a real Russian troll out in the wild. And this one is trying so hard, too! So hard. Poor little feller. It’s like he got SO caught up in stuffing links to generic Wikipedia pages into his nonfactual & unhinged jibberish that he forgot to construct full and coherent sentences.

I agree, but I do think there are some signs of his support weakening. My FIL is still on the Trump train (and always will be—he’s the same age as Trump and absolutely idolizes him) but his wife hopped off it a few weeks after the inauguration. She’s over the shenanigans. His most ardent supporters are still the most

I...yeah. I agree. I’m kinda flabbergasted reading some of the comments here, to be honest.

Good ol’ Loco. I’d say he is an odd one, and he definitely is—the random flipping to referring to himself in third person and the way he insists on showing up here nightly to post his blatantly batshit bonkers posts that always stay mostly uncommented on, in the grays, takes some real commitment.

Stop asking so many questions, it’s harder for them to nonsensically fearmonger against brown people that way.

Fellow chica here with a husband that also has zero influence on policy making and is also probably tired of hearing me rant. They’re kinda the best, aren’t they?

I never realized this was a thing until my husband befriended a co-worker that does it. He first orders incredibly contemplated things with a million changes, even if it’s fucking fast food. Then if it isn’t perfect, back it goes until its brought out exactly the right way.

While I think the dude totally needs to be blasted off the face of this earth and I don’t think he naturally has super great skin, I gotta point out that that is an elevator photo taken with peak elevator lighting. Elevator lighting is notoriously THE WORRRRRRST.

His SNL work is totally what made me a fan. I have a hard time understanding the hate with him sometimes—he can sing, dance, play musical instruments, be a terrible actor in movies, and then be excellent at making fun of himself on SNL. He can be a little over-the-top (obnoxious?) at times, but I also think he’s well

I’m glad you are asking an honest question here. I know some have jumped down your throat, but I grew up in a part of the United States seemingly void of illegal immigrants, and didn’t learn more about it until I was in my twenties and moved to a metro area that is considered a sanctuary city. It seems mind-boggling

So angry over reading liberal-slanted news on a liberal-slanted website. Good luck yelling at clouds though, grandpa.

....or Trump will simply hop on twitter first thing this morning and say that Blumenthal is of course making the whole thing up, even if Gorsuch’s spokesperson literally confirmed the conversation and Gorsuch’s remarks last night.

The checks & balances are poof, gone. And I really wish more people in this country were paying attention to what just happened in South Dakota—the citizens literally voted IN FAVOR of passing anti-corruption laws in November, it had majority bipartisan support, and...the newly elected GOP last week held an emergency

I agree with this 100%. Most people already know what she stands for and the causes that she fights, I think. She’s used her platform often in the past to deliver various messages. She didn’t need to this time; her presence and medley of songs were enough.

I also want SNL to start having more female comedians play the roles of Trump’s (mostly white male) administration. There’s no doubt that sexism was a huge undertone of this last election. And so there’s no doubt that THAT would reeeeally get under Trump’s skin.
