"Go Fish" featured Young Nicholas Brennan in a Speedo…

The current contract runs out then. This has happened before—but Buffy didn't go away.

Netflix keeps telling me I'd like Charmed. I've seen bits of the show on TNT (back when I had cable)—usually while waiting for Supernatural reruns. TNT convinced me to watch several shows that way—Due North comes to mind. (And too bad that isn't on anywhere—glad I've got the DVD's.)

I came to Buffy late. Even if I'd watched it as it aired, I would have been far older than all of you. But the concept of "My High School is the Hellmouth" still resonated….

Then he tries to hit Tara—and he chip kicks in. Proving she is NOT a demon….

Angel should have run one more season. Spike & Angel made such a great odd couple. And we might have had a couple of flashbacks with them & Darla & Dru, laying waste to 19th century Europe.

Giles: "We few, we happy few…"

Andrew showed up in a longcoat, returning to Sunnydale after a long absence. You could tell he thought he looked totally cool, striding down the street with the coat floating after him.

I was not in the demographic for the show when it premiered & some intense family things kept me from devoting time to following it.

S4 was when Gunn welcomed what appeared to be a straightforward rescue caper. He spoke of being trapped in a "turgid supernatural soap opera"—many viewers & probably some of the writers agreed. (Still, Angel is another show that repays re-watching. Just not every episode.)

You don't have to watch every episode again. I'm strict about watching the whole run of any show—once.

Yes to Xena. No to Charmed.

I have no idea. I just started watching on Amazon Prime—finished season 1. I found it interesting from the beginning & it's getting more interesting.

The Online Etymology dictionary on trumpery: 'mid-15c., "deceit, trickery," from Middle French tromperie (14c.), from tromper "to deceive," of uncertain origin …. Meaning "showy but worthless finery" is first recorded c. 1600.'

No, it occurred while he was VP. And his pardons for those involved prevented trials in which his name might have come up. GHWB was not all that, with his CIA experience. And he was famously inarticulate, although he retained enough of a preppy veneer to come off better than his son….

And he named his 2nd daughter "Tiffany." That's a Stripper Name….

So, you're really bored with those freeloaders….

I'm not clutching at any pearls. You're the one making excuses for a madman.

It's The Republican Way. That visit to the USS Gerald Ford brought back memories…..

Yup. JQA had a brilliant diplomatic career, but his presidency was not successful. He was a poor fit for the coming Jacksonian age of politics.
