I followed the link about Stutz, and... For something built on a Suburban this thing is incredibly well-proportioned:

I have always loved the stately appearance that the Hongqi gives off. I have also never seen one move under its own power before though. Anyway, this is messing with my mind. Like finding out your boring aunt is actually a pole dancer.

Just two good boys

只是两个好男孩

绝不意味着任何伤害

I think there is probably plenty of room for everyone in this story to be the asshole. That being said...

In one sense, this is a shame, as the over-the-top pretentiousness of the F&F series has always been ripe for parody.

Ghosn knew the fix was in the moment the Japanese courts refused his lawyers’ request to see the financial documents the charges were based on. How are you supposed to refute the evidence when you cannot see the evidence?

Japan’s legal strategy is to ensure its conviction rates remain high by trying to torture people, pre trial, into taking a guilty plea just to make it stop. Then the “trial” is just them confessing and explaining how the police did such a wonderful job in investigating the crime. Their pre trial detention rates and

I once dropped off an friend who's brother owned a private jet. This was at a major international Airport, although the terminal was in a completely other spot as the regular planes. He told me the flight was at 9:15, and we should be there at 9:10. I thought this was weird as normal check-in takes like an hour and a

“ Turkish authorities have begun to piece together the flight details of Ghosn’s journey, which reportedly did involve the musical instrument cases previously rumored to have played a part.”

The Japanese judicial system is so tilted (99% conviction rates) that it’s hard to see how he’d get a fair trial, especially since the evidence points toward a contrived set of charges drummed up by MITI to protect Nissan from falling into French government control. This was a set-up, pure and simple.

While this is a fun story to keep running over & over, the whole “unsold LFA” thing is not based in reality and has been a recurring myth for years. A review of Lexus’ sales numbers alone does not mean anything without context.

I don’t give a damn if it is seven years old. If I won the $237 million Powerball jackpot tomorrow night, one of my first orders of business would be putting together my own Gone in 60 Seconds list of 50 cars (to be acquired legally, though), and a Lexus LFA would sure AF be on there. I think I’d name her... Rebecca.

Like torn jeans!

Those already exist, they’re called Alfa Romeos.

“New cars should come pre-rusted and not working”

I’ve only seen one Supra - which is crazy low in Vancouver. Usually when something new comes out I’ll see a half-dozen a week after the reviews are published.
