Updated headline: Germany Just Became Far More Dangerous!

Correct Headline: Self Driving Cars Will Never Be Practical

One night at the race track I had spray of oil coming from the rear of the engine on my IMCA type stock car. Thinking I had a leaking rear main seal, I pulled the engine out the next night, mounted it on the engine stand, turned it upside down, and found my problem... I pin hole in the oil filter. That was a lot of

I owned a ‘73 model for a period of time. It was a fun car with a 5-speed manual, coil springs and disc brakes all the way around, and a very easy to operate top. I never knew they went to drums on the back as the video indicated. If I would have liked the color a bit more (it was light blue), I’d probably still have

Sure. I read that an aftermarket pulley was installed, meaning that at some point the original was removed and replaced, hence the reason for my comment.

So what you’re saying is that the OEM tensioner failed prior to the 100K mark on that German car, right?

I’d like to see a 3,000 mile report on the same car. It’s entirely possible that the engine is coming apart regardless of the oil change interval.

Thanks for writing what I’ve been thinking about for some time now. It’s only going to get worse (did you see that adaptive gas pedal story?). My first serious realization of this problem was when I purchased my 2014 Silverado with its junk “adaptive transmission.” This thing makes me want to search Craigslist for

If you are prone to car sickness, maybe this isn’t the profession for you...

Sorry Doug, but the new Ridgeline isn’t that good looking. It reminds me of a Camry that decided to become a truck.

I’m disappointed that someone so interested in climate change is destroying the planet by using the electricity needed to operate a computer. Just think what the world will be like in 10 years when these young skulls full of mush are more prevalent than they are today.

SEMA has an official Collector Car Appreciation Day. It’s usually in the first part of July. We’ve celebrated it at my workplace the last few years by having our employees bring their cars in for a small car show.

Definitely a little too much “fart can” for me, but I like it better than the sound of a completely stock exhaust. I owned an ‘86 911 with a sport style muffler, and this is definitely a different sound.

I hated the design at first, especially in the yellow color. I’ll have to say, the blue and red versions look much better, and its’s starting to grow on me.

What 6-speed transmission is the truck using? Did it act confused, or did it ever hunt for gears?

Does the transmission act like it’s confused like half of the other trucks on the market, or can I actually drive it without noticing the erratic behavior?

I have cousins, aunts, and uncles in the military, but no immediate relatives. Just curious if you know if you’re able to join based on this type of connection?

Try using Nationwide Auto Loans. They don’t have near the restrictions on older collector cars, and they actually have pretty good rates, even for longer terms. I financed part of an ‘86 Porsche 911 with them, and had great luck.

This post is worthless without audio and/or video!

This is an exciting time to be looking for a new motorcycle. I’ve had my eye on Indian for some time now. If I ever do decide to buy new again, this would be at the top of my list.
