    > "We're now finding out Santa isn't real."

    Agreed.

Good points, and similar to my own view (see above).

Yeah I don't get the negative reaction. Personally I think this looks incredible. (I even moved there! >.<)

    Unicorns.

Eh... that's a bit harsh. I simply meant that these games had failed to capture my interest when I watched their in-conference reveals. Now they're beginning to look better. It seems that they did a poor job of communicating what makes these games distinct. The ZombiU trailer shown on-stage, for instance, was simply

    > "The console sends information about what you are doing to the live servers which then send the corresponding information to the smartglass app on your mobile device."

It sure is strange, isn't it? Almost as if everyone (except Miyamoto) completely forgot why they were onstage in the first place.

Black bars, of course... better known as LEGO part #3069a

He does, but their bumps are censored.

Seriously... all the 3rd party games I initially wrote off are starting to look incredible. ZombiU is actually a fresh take on the genre, Lego City looks like the cutest take on GTA ever, and now Scribblenauts has convinced me to have a 3rd go with these new customization features.

Shoulder buttons used for basic actions irritates me, but I'm not part of the FPS generation that has started making those primary (they're tertiary buttons

Forgive me, but I stumbled upon this shot of the same girls, and it's priceless.

I don't blame him. I'll never tire of using that trick on my dog. I hope half the audience turned around and starting searching the floor behind them.

It's not a "horror" game. It's more of a spooky or Halloween-themed game. And I love it... the whole look and feel reminds me of Halloween specials on TV as a kid. It's adorable, and I'm glad someone cares to make games of this kind.

Ah yes, I miss his constant nervous humming as you wander around the mansion. I hope they retain that in the new game.

I don't think it means exactly what you're thinking.

    "You're obviously confused and aroused."

Now I remember what Nintendo was missing this year. Beautiful, tethered women for its new hardware launch.
