I wasn’t particularly crazy about this spin-off idea (mainly cause I feel like Supernatural is one of those television miracles you can’t really recreate, and like Doctor Who any spin-off just couldn’t really match the all-encompassing insanity of it) but I know of quite a few people who were and I’m pretty bummed for

they are fighting WITH Lucifer after fighting HIM and also trying to kill him and ... etc etc etc etc

Me from a decade ago is still coming to terms with how much present day me is unhappy about not seeing Nicole Richie every week. It’s crazy just how good she was on Great News.

I am more than okay with that.

Excellent place to be really. His shows are just so goddamn brilliant.

I can’t believe it.

Between this and The Good Place and then Office and Parks and Rec, NBC might as well be the Mike Schur Channel.

Damn it, they’re going to make me say it.

Charmed strikes me as the kind of show you should try to reboot - interesting premise, solid enough mythology, lousy execution.

Given that Sabrina will be on Netflix, that seems like a possible home.

Can’t have two female-led shows about supernatural things.

Is there a way to shop the show to other networks/Netflix/Hulu? Or since because it’s a spin-off of Supernatural, that’s not possible?

I think you and I might be the only ones that watched The Mick. I especially loved how Alba’s size was never a joke. And it was just really fucking funny.

I loved The Mick a lot. (The drug trip through the high school episode was sublime.) But I was preparing myself to say goodbye to Mickey and the gang.

I’m real fuckin’ upset about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It doesn’t make a lick of sense to me. Fine, maybe it didn’t get the live ratings it deserved, but it’s the era of

Wow, network TV has lost me completely, now. If Fox keeps Ghosted while cancelling these shows, then I’ll be angry.

Nope, you’re legally not allowed to talk about how bad things are if there’s something out there worse. Can’t talk about how you have a cold, because imagine if it were cancer. Can’t talk about police brutality, because hey, there’s still human trafficking. Can’t talk about Miller Lite because there’s still craft

The attitude that “it couldn’t happen here” is exactly the attitude that lets it happen. Just because other places could be closer to it then us doesn’t mean this country couldn’t slide into it as well. I don’t think it would happen but Handmaidens tale can be a warning of what could happen if we let certain groups

Are you speaking from your own personal experience or on behalf of others whom you haven’t met?

This is an article about the Handmaid’s Tale that analyzes its inspirations and motivations for existing. Most, if not all art/media has a purpose for existing and I hate to break it to you, but eventually it’s going to connect with the real world, which means people who analyze it for a living are going to write or
