Ha! You are definitely the friend to watch movies with. My friends rarely offer me a snack, let alone wind, fire and that kind of thing.

I’m nosy and I want to know your songs now! But, I’ll have to accept that I can’t always get what I want, at least that’s what The Rolling Stones keep saying.
I had a hunch you might not be all about lyrics. To each their own, always, but oh man, so many wonderful lyrics out there to be sung!
I scrolled right past his tweets, as is the norm, but I couldn’t help but follow your advice to “Watch the umbrella.”
I believe you and I would say I fell into a similar category as a child. I am a generally smiling, friendly, and open person and and was consistently defined as flirtatious, which is not quite the same thing.
For the lyrics alone, I learned to love his voice. It didn’t hurt that my Dad was all about Bob Dylan and tried his best to indoctrinate me.
I kind of liked the first Wrong Turn movie. I admit it.
I appreciate that you know who you are and no, I wouldn’t say you’re a bad guy by any stretch. Not to diminish what you say or to dismiss your concern, but I think we all have capacity to be prickly and I *know* we can all be greatly awkward. I also know that you’re being serious and honest when you say you’ll never…
That is a fair and legitimate point, but when mothers (or aunts or grandparents or whoever) say it about toddlers, it is kind of gross.
I’ll keep that in mind. :) I’ve seen you when you’re acting out and I’ve seen you when you’re starting interesting discussions. I think I can hack it!
Don’t feel guilty. You aren’t a burden.
You are en fuego today!
I wasn’t online much over the weekend and scrolled through my dashboard just now (Monday AM) to see if your account had been sorted out. It looks like no, nor did I receive a notification on this message. If I hadn’t pulled you up directly, I’d not have seen it at all. :(
As I mentioned elsewhere, the end credits scene of them walking and showing off their hot 80s outfits was probably my favorite for it’s utter ridiculousness.
If I had seen it smack dab in the middle of the 80s, I certainly would have appreciated it more, but it definitely had its moments. I could see where anyone who watched it at the age I watched Big Trouble in Little China would love it with the same fervor. It was fantastical and weird and silly, with many familiar…
The end credits strut scene was truly the icing on the cake for me.
It’s official. I can never say I haven’t seen Buckaroo Banzai again! It was one of the most 80s movies to ever 80s, and that’s not criticism.
