I am no fan of Elon Musk, but I fully support his concept of being able to order a car online directly from the manufacturer.  For an informed car shopper, like me, a dealer adds no value to my purchase transactions.

Here in SoCal, these with auto trans. are available cheap with zero rust. Buy one one, ship it the Tracy wrecking yard, then do a drivetrain swap. A solid weekend’s worth of work.
