They adapted the full book in one amazing season and then got greedy. Maybe I would’ve liked more the season two if it focused more on the isolation/wilderness/survival/relationships of the first one, because even in the first season the supernatural aspects were the weakest ones.
This third season concept sounds again

That first season was one of my favorite seasons of TV to come out in 20 years. I couldn’t make it through the second, though I really wanted to.

Noel Fielding plays a dandy highwayman in the trailer for The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, premiering March 1 on Apple TV+.

I thought the last Evil Dead movie was great but kind of miss the goofiness of the early ones and the more recent Ash vs Evil Dead series.

Take Carl Weathers, put him in Arrested Development, give him some lines, a per diem, celery... Baby, you got a stew goin’.

I’m surprised and heartened by people not knowing who this guy is.

Call me old fashioned, but I remember when they used to hire famous and/or talented people to host SNL.

I’m still not convinced that the new animated series will ever see the light of day, but I’m glad he’ll be a part of it should it happen.

I am excited to hear this, and even more excited that he recorded these roles

Kim Matula as Jane Curtin

Might as well get Chevy. Do the wolverines sketch as the opener, and when he comes out to say “Live from New York” subvert it somehow. Try to do something funny. I know it’s a tall order. They’ll probably get the Donald Trump guy to interrupt or something. Have all the sketches be callbacks that cleverly riff on

I think ideally, you’d want someone who (a) was a cast member; (b) early in the show; (c) had a successful career that is in some way attributable to SNL; and (d) went on to have a successful career so that he or she is still famous enough to host SNL now.

George Carlin was the first episode host.

I always appreciate how Star Trek wanted us to forget stuff like this, and Tuvix. Lower Decks is like: hold my beer.

No, there is nothing redeeming here except MAYBE the nobility of a big swing that misses.

dont forget about Anthony from Lower Decks
