I have never forgotten 5 minutes into an IMAX film that I was watching an IMAX film.

Since I'm not an online-console-FPS player (I get my fix with TF2 on the PC) this is pretty much the only reason I had a Gold membership. Bring it back, please!

Man, if they're gonna put a slider-keyboard on the phone, at least make it a good one. Epic 4G anyone?

@DrZaius: Wasn't your point that they shouldn't reuse any of the icons though?

This is the phone that is going to make me forsake my smartphone-boycott. I've always been of the "wait 6 more months and there will be something far superior" mindset but this will do everything I could possibly want it to. Including control my Samsung TV so that I don't have to spring for a Logitech remote.

@DrZaius: They used it for M.

With the exception of Salazar at the bottom, this list starts off pretty good and gets worse and worse with every row.

@dragon:ONE: People who stream 1080p content from NAS to their HTPC needs 802.11n. 802.11g won't cut it for that.

@illegal3alien: Yeah, I was surprised the article didn't mention this as a temporary "quick fix" - I've pointed a table fan at a opened-case PC on more than one occasion until such time as I could get a new heatsink installed or reconfigure and add extra case fans.

God, I love F-Zero. I had some friends who were always like "it was moderately hard, but nothing to write home about" until I ask if they beat every story mission on very hard and beat Master Grand Prix with EVERY car. Some cars suck- that's one of the great things about this game.

The only time I thought the LCD was easier to see than the Super AMOLED was when the camera backed away for a few seconds during the soccer match clip. I'd take the Super AMOLED any day of the week, considering a) face it, extreme sunlight isn't the largest percentage of time I'm using my device and b) AMOLED has LCD

@pressstart: Probably not. But maybe they'll ask at the creation of a save file whether the player is right-or-left handed, and configure Link accordingly. That would be cool.

@thatdamnprinny: I think this is purely a pragmatic result of control. They can't control aiming with the nunchuck, only bowstring release, so the nunchuck has to go back.

@nootron: Something cool I read somewhere, regarding the teaching you bad habits— apparently they had music professors from UC-Berkeley as consultants to make sure that the techniques impressed upon you in training mode wouldn't be contrary to anything you might learn in formal lessons. I think Harmonix is treating

@yertle: Unfortunately you can't use your normal Fender you already own. Fender is making a really-works Squier that will connect to the console and detect your fretting and plucking for use in the game, that can also be plugged into an amp at the same time.

I'm super-excited about the Squier from Fender, but that PRO-mode guitar from Mad Catz is going to be the biggest ripoff on Planet Earth. If my Rock-Band-2 guitar with 5 fret buttons has become nigh-unusable three different times because the buttons get borked (and this isn't even from crazy usage) then how do you

Square Enix bought Quest and therefore owns the rights to Ogre Battle. Plus, Matsuno worked there until he got tired of those guys. Ogre Battle is tops for me. Other than that, I agree with everyone else pimping the SNES era stuff and also TWEWY.

@Improbable: It sure is! Good catch, I didn't notice that one. Between the two that gives a pretty good perspective of how much the bottom picture is repositioned.

Here's a comparison shot, with the arrows pointing at the same building.

@mrClint: They've stated that the items for sale will be three categories: (1) cosmetic, (2) convenience, and (3) consumable.
