Exactly. What 2020 Biden/Dem voter is happy with Manchin as a senator? If anything he’s taking GOP votes if he ran as a 3rd party. The only argument that makes sense for Manchin not to run is Dems would lose his senate seat since WV is so red. But that doesn’t have anything to do with him being a presidential spoiler.

I don’t think it occurred to me that Joe Manchin had cache or appeal with Democrats or Democratic voters outside of WV; the guy is more or less a Dixiecrat/DINO. Is he even pro-choice? What’s the argument for him pulling votes away from Biden?
