@timobrien1: That's really not that bad. A regular first class flight from JFK to LON was somewhere in the neighborhood of $12K last time I checked on a 747. Now, that's outside of my price range, but I'm just pointing out that $12k on that flight gets you a chair that reclines into a bed, and a small lamp. This is a

@zross312: I suspect it had something to do with the cold war. I think we (USA) had this thing going on with the USSR where the we wanted them to know we had more power, and they wanted to make us think they had more power. So, I suppose we were flexing. But I haven't brushed up on my history in awhile, so I'm not

@Deadsider: I see. Thanks for clarifying.

@demsecure: I see. In that case I apologize for my misinformation.

@telioteht: That works for banks, but what about the nameless ATMs at gas stations and grocery stores? I've only seen a guy open an ATM at a gas station once. He just walked in, opened it, moved some things around inside, and nobody said anything.

@Deadsider: So....they just gave you safe combinations?

@junkmail: Do you have free tethering/wi-fi hotspot with 2.2?

@Boomdiggity!: You might still want to root for Froyo. I recall on of the major selling points with the EVO was the tethering option, especially tethering over wi-fi. @demsecure: To my knowledge, Nexus One is the only vanilla android phone. EVO comes with Sense, Droid and Droid X come with Motoblur, and Samsung has TouchWiz.

@Facebook: @ArseneKarl: @imTheKing: Excellent. I'm very pleased with these results. Three civil responses with helpful, pertinent information. I appreciate how you guys presented your points in a calm and concise manner.

1066MHz SDRAM....really? I'd expect better for the pro line, but then again, I never did understand the appeal behind a mac...

@Incoherent: I must be missing something here...financial reasons aside, what stops someone from using a PlaystationUSB adapter and a USBminiUSB, microUSB, whatever?

On a completely unrelated note, when is this Cheetos epic battle thing going to be over? I understand advertisements keep the process running, but I keep accidentally running my mouse over the ad, and it's very aggravating to have it expand over the story.

@bjaxon: Really? I usually get between 14 and 20 hours out of mine before it turns yellow. Have you turned off auto-sync? That burns through battery at a ridiculous rate.

@ThatKidHunter: I had to scroll through like 8 pages of comments to get to this, but.....we've officially crossed 700 =)

@xzibillion: If I understood your question correctly, the answer is simply that they would lose money.

@bobby.tables: My bad man, you're absolutely right. I left out a zero. Fuck, now I'm gonna get flamed.

@Tyrunn: Engadget Drops the percentage. 0.016, which is about 1/34
