I tried to bring up this same point and got called a racist... Someone said that the creators tried to address it by saying the planners of the mission were very forward thinking and didn't hold to the prejudices of the times.
I see a big, big problem: The abstracted solar system logo in the trailer shows only eight planets, but Pluto was still a planet in the 1960s. Can we trust a show which doesn't put much attention to this very important detail?
