I think i know what you mean. Sometimes I have something real good but in the excitement I give a bad delivery. Then sometimes a stupid, not meant to be funny joke/commentary comes out just the right way where its quite funny.

The thing I hate the most is when the audience doesnt laugh at the good(to me) jokes, but finds the cheap stupid ones hilarious.
