Batman: Robin needed help bringing the people who murdered his family to justice.

I put on an episode from early in season 2 the other day, and it occurred to me that this might be as close as we’ll ever get to a comic book version of something like Game of Thrones, just in the sheer number of agendas, factions and reversals over the course of the show.

Probably the best take on Castle I’ve seen in a decade. Way too many writers have tried to ape Ennis’ take on the guy ever since Welcome Back Frank. Don’t get me wrong, I dig Ennis’ run, but it’s nice to see a version of the Punisher with some real pathos that I can identify with some.
