I swear most of the complaints about TLJ are at best nitpicking (i.e. how the bombs worked) or, at worst, was explained in the movie, required basic critical thinking skills (i.e. Leia’s spacewalk and Luke’s Force Projection), or was never that important to begin with and were hyped by Abrams and his mystery boxes…

I’m with you on all of that, except I actually liked Hammer in the role - but no amount of lingering shots on the sun-dappled countryside can distract from the fact that he is most definitely not 24.
For me it’s the level of jank that’ll ultimately keep me from ever playing it, much like Skyrim. I’m big on immersive games, but when frequent bugs, glitches, and overly gamey mechanics keep reminding me of what I’m doing, I start paying more attention to those and stop getting into the world I’m supposed to be…
It didn’t bother me. Taking a strictly legal approach, Elio isn’t a minor. Taking a more nuanced approach, there’s not much evidence that Oliver ‘preys’ on him - in the book (and in the movie too, as I saw it) Elio is clearly acting of his own volition.
Jacob lost his shoes early in the show when he walked out in the tide and had the ocean pull them right off his feet. Later, when he went to Ghost Island, he had brand new shoes on.
That makes no sense. Fish are as much animals as all the others. Calling oneself a vegetarian would be dishonest or at least the height of self-delusion.
