My gut reaction is the same as yours. Seems like a terrible idea. But Lord and Miller are geniuses and possibly the only people who can pull this off.

BPRD is still going strong though. And the “Hellboy and the BPRD” series
Or they are both new characters. Is Sana supposed to be over a decade older than Han? I suppose she could be since Han and Leia are a similar age difference.
Except she was never referred to by name outside of the credits and I’m not sure she even had dialogue.
I wouldn’t worry. Marvel casting is usually top notch. Plus I think they have a lot of faith in this show because they hired the showrunner to run the Inhumans IMAX/ABC miniseries.
I think it’s pretty clear from the clip in the link that Harrelson hasn’t heard that character name before. He is saying that he is playing a mentor, not that character specifically.
The blu ray version also cuts to Naboo, complete with a gungan yelling “wesa free”. But I stand by the music.
The fact is the newer celebration music at the end of Jedi is way better than yub nub. The added Coruscant bit may have been unnecessary, but the music is a huge improvement
A lot of people are saying this about the guy they used in Ep III, but he didn’t have any dialogue. That make up could have looked very fake when he opened his mouth.
Mas Amedda would be amazing!
Was he Ben Burtt in RotJ? Whoever they got looked extremely similar for sure. That would be cool if he did it.
The Rogue One Visual guide confirms that the guy who wakes up Vader is this guy http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kren_Blista-Vanee who had a second of screen time in RotJ.
If you read the article he links in that quote, you also learn that while he loves episodes ii and iii, he turns the sound off because he hates John Wiliams’ score
Compared to other Twi’leks seen in the movies, Bib and Beezer both look deformed. Maybe the Fortunas are really inbred
Yeah. and while I respect his efforts to produce cool stories, I actually do get annoyed by his name in the marketing, because it makes a lot of people ignore the actual filmmakers .
To get people buzzing, sure you have a point. I’m saying he used his power to get it made in the first place.
For things like this and Westworld, he is only Executive producer, he isn’t a big part of the creative team. I think it is good thag he can use his star power to get stuff like this made
That’s not Ganke, it’s Ned Leeds
Yeah for sure. most of that is covered in th book Bloodline, which is basically all the politics that got left out of the movie. That book also covers the origin of the Resistance and the First Order (minus details such as who Snoke is)
