At the very least, they ought to try and get Chloe on board. I think if they are bringing it back, they should try and do 24 as an anthology style show, with a different lead each season. The new character just wasn't very interesting and his entire arc seems like a one and done.

Billy Zane was confined to one subplot where he was a brief love interest for Audrey. Though it did end with him leaving and saying one day he'd be back for her, so it'd be kind of funny if he showed up 25 years later and said "Told ya!"
