This is America. Of course they're gonna make it. To know that, all you have to do is look at America's past to know we never hold businesses accountable. Hell, and when they do really bad, they just take more of our taxes to bail out these giant failed companies, rather than letting anyone else join their club. Go

So this is more general guide to getting more playtime out of any game, they just substituted elden ring terminology. There's like nothing here all that specific to elden ring.

Bigger isn't always better. So damn tired of all these open world games and their boring ass filler content.

AAA used to mean quality. Now it literally only means "catered to investors" and "almost definitely released early"

Devs want to turn literally every franchise into open world, because for some reason they think that’s what we want?

“Three games worth of lore to catch up on" made me laugh. The story for the first game fits in a paragraph, the 2nd less than a page.

No solo, No buy-o. Them changing this into an open world game to sometimes multiplayer game is total garbage.  Dealing with other people online is at it's lowest point in history, so them taking a franchise I've solo'd easily over 5000 hours, and telling me I can't do that anymore... Well, guess I'll go back to my D2

How much they pay you to write this?

So. Sick. Of games shoehorning open world into every game franchise. It doesn't make games better. EVER.

Tear it ALL down and start fresh. Only way we'll ever move forward from this cancerous toxic society.

Plot? Seriously? It's Zelda. You're going to save the kingdom from an incarnation of Ganon.

“Longer term, instead of properly balancing, we're just going to keep applying bandaids while releasing new OP heroes to keep you distracted."

I feel dumber for having read this article.

Kinda feels like we should either stop calling them "games" or start treating them that way again. This is why I avoid 99% of AAA titles, unrealistic timelines set for both release by investors, and for content creation by increasingly toxic fanbases.

Man, gamers are some whiney ass bitches, am I right?

As one of the immunocompromised people, this drives me nuts. There’s a LOT of us out there, that even with the booster, we’re still at higher risk for all sorts of things. I really don’t know what I would do if I was not already 100% remote years before this all started. I feel like for years I’m going to be “the only

Don’t even bother listening to this article, they're all bad. They always are.

I love it when I get a roadmap. It's like a big giant sign that says "Don't Buy Me! Not until the roadmap is finished and the game goes on sale!" Hype is for strange people who want to spend the most money a game will ever be, with the least amount of content it will ever have. Oh, and the most bugs.

Thicker skin? How about simply treating your fellow humans with some gods damned respect.

Gamers, as a whole are seriously the biggest suckers on the planet. Where else do people HAPPILY throw a bunch of money to pre-order games they KNOW will either ship incomplete, or are just more of the exact same crap as the previous title
