Anecdotally it seems like it may be. Last year I had to fly from Los Angeles to South Korea and the cheapest fair was for... Ugh well I can’t remember but I’m pretty sure it was Singapore Airlines. It was the cheapest by about 150 or so on a flight costing roughly $1100 for coach seats.
The internet (and even Google) has trained us to have interest in a thing no longer than the lifeTime of a mayfly. I’ll forget I posted this by tomorrow.
“if he’s old at 30, what am I at 51?”
You mean develop phones that are just a few mm thicker that can deliver significantly better battery performance, less likely to break, and more likely to be kept for longer than a year? Surely you aren’t suggesting that Apple and other companies actually develop long lasting consumer goods as opposed to annual $1000 d…
Rally driving videos are my favorite four wheeled spectator motorsport.
Why the long face? Does it make you sad that they got it wrong?
The banned Nissan 300ZX Superbowl commercial. Showing my age but I was there when it aired that one Time and then never again because it “encourages speeding.”

I did eat a single square of “chocolate” from a Hershey bar, but it was being used as the basis for comparison among a larger selection of fine chocolates.
Found a link to another lengthy paper on the subject, also from Nature. And this one’s not behind the paywall. Link was referenced in the wikipedia article for Theobroma Cacao.
“Indeed, though the signs hinted at a South American origin, the archaeological evidence simply wasn’t there. “
I’m still weirded out that the narrator sounds like he’s speaking American English yet chooses to pronounce it “aluminium” and nearly flubs the word.
Pee bricks for science and the environment. Works for me.
Good point. I even own Fortnite and haven’t touched it since I bought it and played it for a fortnite. But it’s Kinja so I can’t even edit my own words.
Fortnite is in early access and they’re on Season 6. Yea, the term doesn’t mean anything anymore.
When my company has holiday parties, I like to get pretty smashed, provided there is proper transport to wherever I’m staying the night of course. This has in the past led to hilarity and interesting memories.
