Uhh because I have family that also lives here and the city itself is amazing? You can actively not like one aspect of something while having much enjoyment from other aspects.

LoL 😂 passive aggressive much? DC traffic is stupid but you sound like part of the problem. Probably from Maryland as the joke goes.
I mean they tried the horse meat ones as I recall and most people were displeased.
Lol Why is there an asterisk in this gif? Did suck end up being a bad word?
I don't see anything extra required for this as most transmissions are now electrically actuated. The system already has a chime for when you are not buckled in and I have been in zero cars that that feature has failed.
Eh, the emotional trauma of people seeing your mangled body smeared across the pavement because you choose not to belt up counts too. It’s people like you that are so dense and self-centered in not seeing how this feature isn’t about “you”, but about others who choose not to belt up.
Needs more stars. DC has descended into a royal hellscape of exactly what you said (running lights, blowing through stop signs, ragers, etc)...it was bad before but it is so much worse now. Add in the uptick in double parked cars delivering Uber eats, groceries, etc. and the inability of the mayor’s office to push for…
Easy: any rental.
I was conflating touch screen and capacitive buttons as I’ve been driving two of my family members cars in the past couple weeks, Forester and a Civic, which have one or the other. I love steering wheel physical controls, but prefer that the main radio still have a knob as it’s the easiest way to get used to a…
I don't think my Mom's Forester has one on the wheel either, but if you push the volume knob it mutes the radio as it still has a knob. I watch my Mom struggle with the touchscreen already and she thinks it's distracting they rely on this type of tech. These features are going after the younger generations while…
Captive touch buttons are a solution to a problem that didn’t exist. If my passenger wants to adjust the volume I have no issue with that (not a control freak like some drivers out there), but my issue is with them fiddling with a touchscreen which is distracting, while turning a simple knob is easier for everyone. If…
Look at the lead image...the wheel gap is so minimal and the bumper would need to be a mile tall to be a CUV. A 2-door hatchback is what needs to happen to try and tie it back to the 3rd gen that everyone pines after, but me thinks it’ll be 4-door hatch. It’ll be based off the Civic so a 6MT will need to be in the…
Defense spending is such a unique beast of burden as the military and the private sector make up millions of jobs and keep the economy moving forward for that many people. The slashing of that type of budget in any meaningful way will just create a huge glut in lost jobs and would drive us into probable recession and…
Hey fellow Jalopniker, apparently you want to judge the choices of others yet you didn’t participate in adding your own suggestions. It’s a straw poll and doesn’t hold any real value and is just something fun for people to discuss, lighten up a bit.
Yeah as I stated VAG and BMW offer them as an accessory, but they just look tacky compared to this slick integrated design... I'm shocked neither BMW or Volvo emulated the Infiniti design
LoL that photo... What GM full sized SUV driver does a juice cleanse on the regular?
Well you'd have to have auto up/down functionality built into all windows and the majority only have them on the front s. The other piece is if you accidentally flip the wiper handle your windows would go up every time. I would personally HATE that happening
It did make a brief comeback though...
Adult Luxury vs Child Safety argument... I’ll take the latter, but understandable if you don’t have kids.
It’s been an add on for a few brands (BMW and VAG products) but Infiniti EX35 had an option for a built in coat hanger on the back of the driver’s seat. Such a clever idea to keep your suit jacket or blazer wrinkle free
