I've heard a lot about Partridge, sounds like it's finally time to dive in, thanks!

I mean, no matter what there's some kind of sociopathy going on there. No sane person would try to blackmail someone and then try to be the little spoon

Just finished catching up. Though I held off on the show for a while because of the cringe comedy indentifier hanging around it, this show has one important aspect that makes it different from the awkward humor I can't stand: I feel no sympathy for the lead at all. Forrest's awfulness makes him destestable but

Me and my brother don't have a baby (thank God), but the phrase comes up whenever we lose or forget about something.

Glad to learn about this! Definitely gonna do some research into FLAT now.

Yeah, it's frustrating the series doesn't sound very good, because I love the subject matter.

Yeah, I'm sure it was her call whether another season would go forward, and since she said no Fox was like "that's it! This B-list actress declined so we're not making anymore of our high rated, lucrative franchise!"

The show's budget is still near $3 million dollars an episode, which is still a lot. Besides, Gimple's a way better showrunner by than Darabont, he knows to just cut down on the awful dialog and let the cinematographers do their thing.

The main selling point of the original show to me is how beautiful it's shot. Are there great directors on board for this show too?

Any appearance by the Harlem Globetrotters is welcome.

Those two are the only ones left unconfirmed to be linked. If they aren't, I'll be shocked, cause it'd be super weird to have the rhythm of the season be thrown off like that.

Time Heist was also the point of the season where I was fully loving it.

Yeah, sorry for getting heated. I think we both got too lost in the minutia of the argument there. Regardless, I love Capaldi too, and I'm glad the rest of the fan base has so readily embraced him.

You: "I think [fangirlism] accounts for a significant portion of Tennant's popularity"

That's awesome!

"I agree that he had a fangirl attracting appeal that was a significant part of his popularity…" Did you actually read my post? Also, take a step back and realize everything you just said in that first half is literally just your opinion.

I think that's a gross simplification of it though. I'm not physically attracted to the guy, but I still found him "cute" from his bouncy energy to very expressive delivery. I agree that he had a fangirl attracting appeal that was a significant part of his popularity, but it's shallow thinking to say it was all just

Could wielding a baseball bat be just around the corner?

I'm pretty much the same, thought I'd throw The Snowmen and Hide into the love pile. I will say Asylum and the Angels ep worked really well for me on first watch, but they've only diminished in retrospect. And good gravy that finale was awful.
