Less time in the gym?

But how is downloading commercial content via torrent “piracy”? That term got used in the beginning of this whole mess and stuck. Doesn’t mean it’s fitting or even remotely appropriate.

I think not even the term Piracy is fitting.

I get that. But don’t they have legal methods to make you give them the password? As in, if you don’t comply you face jail time?

I don’t see the problem. Isn’t it exactly like with your house? If law enforcement can produce a warrant, you are required by law to open up your home for them. If they have a warrant for your phone, you give them the password.

Wow! Huge lens. How’s the depth of field with this beast wide open? Still usable? I had a canon 50mm f/1.2 once. Great for low light but you have to be very careful that your subject is actually in focus. And since it’s dark, quite a task for any camera. Not that many keepers in the end. I guess with this it’s even

Somehow I expected a video here.

And yet, most companies do lie. We have a tv show called “kassensturz” (It means cash check or cashing-up) here in Switzerland. One of the most highly rated shows for over 30 years. They’re the consumers watchdog so to speak. They call out companies on their lies, deception and fraud on a weekly basis, no end in

Portrait NEVER makes sense. I know what you mean, because the whole action is vertical, it’s best to film it that way. But if that were true they would also show High Diving in portrait. Why don’t they? First, the human visual system is made for landscape. Our eyes are side by side, not on top of each other. Second,

A thousand times this. And why didn’t advertisers go the classy way with tasteful ads that don’t distract and ruin the whole experience on every website? Of course people will install tools that makes all this go away. And now that a significant percentage of readers have these plugins active, good luck convincing

Couldn’t agree more! Interesting, you have exactly the same rating scheme as I have. And I also use smugmug. Been shooting with a DSLR for 3 years now and just couldn’t commit to a photo service until I tested smugmug. I like the clean an simple interface along with everything you mentioned. Price is right as well.

For the really important stuff, data you just can’t afford to lose, ever, go with a RAID next time.

Could you elaborate on the soul sucking part? I’m just asking because I have a friend who worked at several ad agencies over a period of about 15 years and he never said something like this.

It’s nothing like that. Scientists like Gary Taubes and Robert Lustig explain it very clearly. The old mantra of calories in = calories out is just wrong.

Available to play in a C64 emulator, I assume? Not as a flash game. Right?

Eating the whole bug, yeah, I’d definitely had a problem. But if they’d grind it up and made a sausage out of it, I think I’d try that.

I’d say this app is gonna sell like hotcakes, but since it’s free...
