Dammit, now I want to watch Lost again.
Dammit, now I want to watch Lost again.
Yeah, that show had such good potential in many ways but they botched pretty much everything.
Yeah, I watched that one too..
I watched 2 entire seasons of Revolution for Elizabeth Mitchell. So I think I share your reasons.
I was also about to post about Korra. Every week I read this to find out whats going to happen on "The Legend of Korra" and The Walking Dead. Well, actually I watch about half these shows but those 2 are the best.
I've already been considering Nintendo since I'm not sure that a PS4 or XboxOne offer anything my combo of gaming PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 doesn't. The only exclusive I really wanted was Dead Rising 3. I have never had any Nintendo product before. But recently I've been thinking the games look fun and Nintendo stuff is…
Everytime something makes me think of it it gets stuck in my head again for months at at once. However I only know the first two lines...
I like GhostBusters Ok. I liked the Real Ghostbusters better of course. I also actually liked Denver the Last Dinosaur. Hell, the theme song still pops into my head occasionally.
I never knew Mario started as jump man, which is funny because while I have never had a Nintendo and not played much Mario, Jumpman was my first game (I have always been a PC gamer predominately). My father bought a C64 in the early 80's and as a small child from about 3 til about 9 when I got a 286 Jumpman was my…
I spent part of my childhood in the late 1980's early 1990's living in Papua New Guinea which geographically is quite close to Bali and Indonesia. In PNG polygamy was legal and common. On top of that Women were considered property and it was considered oka for male family members (husbands, brothers etc) to beat them.…
Thats actually how I read the headline too. I thought it was kinda weird to appoint a country singer as Attorney General. This makes much more sense.
I used to read that many books at once. I still kind of do but now its mostly non-fiction. If I'm going to read fiction I usually read the entire book within a day or two. I tried to read "A Brief History of Time" but I was just confused almost from the beginning. I think I need to learn a bit more science and math…
I might have to check that out. I'm always looking for something to read. Especially when I'm procrastinating. I remember reading all of the Sookie Stackhouse novels one semester at school during crunch time. I would read one or two before I got down to study/projects. Not very productive so I try to avoid really long…
Wizards First Rule is actually pretty good on its own. Its just that at some point the whole thing turns into an Objectivist polemic, which is kind of opposite my political views. On top of that the interesting story/fantasy elements start taking a back seat.
I think you are mixing up the "Wheel of Time" with "The Sword of Truth". The "Sword of Truth"'s protaganist is Richard.
I actually liked Ready Player One but I read it all in one sitting in the middle of the night while I had insomnia and I never really considered the deeper plot holes until right now. I think you have just retroactively ruined it for me ;)
Very true. I'm not trying to be picky its just I had to look it up since either you were wrong or I should have been suing my doctors.
I don't know about clonidine but I used to take 8mg of Clonazepam a day (thankfully not anymore) and according to drugs.com the max dose/ day is 20mg/day - 1.5mg/day is the recommended starting dose. So 75mg of clonazepam might not be enough to be fatal.
I also really enjoyed the recaps. I like the recaps on this site in general because most of the TV watching I do is alone. So reading the recaps and the comments make it feel like more of a shared experience.
This thread has shown me I apprently have terrible taste. I loved Helix. I thought the first few episodes were terrible and almost stopped watching but by the end of the first season it was one of my favourite comedies. It is meant to be a comedy right? I mean I know most comedies are half-hour but still - I start…
