The ending was awful, but I can't help but like this movie. There is a specific moment in that movie that has stuck with me forever for how horrifying it was - when they've reached the shore after the ferry sinks and they watch a crowd of people running in the distance. A tripod rises up from behind a hill and you

He's 'whorish' for dating 3 women in a year? You sound really bitter and I have no doubt it's rubbing off on your kid.

I'd be worried that would just help him refine his technique for the main event.

Yea I can totally attest to this - its almost as if fascist ideals are the direct product of an underdeveloped brain

10/10 would read again.

Especially bad considering most of the movie had pretty stunning effects at the time. It was as if they had run out of money with 15 minutes left to render out.

I feel like an athlete being able to cram several greasy cheese steaks down their throat moments before jogging out to the field and playing their game sort of invalidates the idea of it being a truly athletic endeavor. At best it's like bowling.

Actually 12GB of vram is pretty much par for the course if you're attempting to build a machine that can do 4k gaming for the next 2-3 years.

You still haven't learned your lesson? Bioware fans are like masochists at this point.

I thought the most perplexing question was what George Carlin was doing in this movie.

Start the reactor! Free Mars!

Is this game even considered canon anymore?

You know, just because it's the "1st" amendment doesn't make it the "first fucking part" of the constitution.

I was just thinking how much I could use an oscilloscope built into my dashboard.

Jesus Christ man there's just some things you don't talk about in public!

I'm running across 3 monitors with some extra pixels to compensate for the bezels.

Yea, but someone who is in business as long as Carmack most likely has a residual knowledge clause that basically ensures that while any code they write while under the employ is property of the company, methods and techniques are still fair game. Considering his level of skill I doubt he literally took code from one

You'd like to think so, but I'm running 2 780's at 6080x1080 and there are already a handful of games that it struggles with - Crysis 3 being one of them. With shader AA its not bad, but even 4x MLAA is enough to see a solid 20fps drop in performance. I think part of the issue is that they simply don't have enough

Italian isn't a race
