The BoP after Qualifying was a half measure at best. What was ACO supposed to do? If they fully pulled the Ford and Ferrari back to match the performance of the other cars then those two would complain. If they did nothing, Porsche, Corvette and Aston Martin would complain.

Local music stores are very much like car dealerships, they mark up everything significantly and sometimes attach arbitrarily high prices to things so uninformed buyers feel like they’re getting a deal when the salesman agrees to lower the price. If anything is included with the purchase you’d better bet you’re

I know there’s bad drivers everywhere, but it doesn’t mean we should enable them by making drivers licenses super easy for any moron to get. Requiring driving lessons at the least would mitigate some of the awfulness.

It’s still alright on older cars because it’s evocative of the era, but on modern cars it’s pure kitsch.

Soft? That looks pretty “enough energy to kill some folks dead” to me.

he’s not anti-car... he’s pro car control... think Walter Röhrl.

Nope, it wouldn’t. Criminals ruin everything!

In all seriousness I believe it should be as difficult to get a drivers license in the US as it is in Germany. The number of people I see merge without looking on a daily basis is terrifying.

Ferraris have a tendency to crash/catch fire/breakdown so the advantage hasn’t really been useful as of yet. I’m fine with this though because while I don’t really root for one particular team ( I’m more a fan of individual drivers ), I always root against Ferrari.

Maybe they were throwing trash in the parking lot instead.

Usually they start after the first opposing corner kick within throwing range, so it’s almost impressive that they waited so long.

Wow, I’ve never seen them give up before, they must have been destroyed down to their very souls. :p

Good point.

I’m not sure about that. they would still need to de-tune the engine a bit to get the valve train to last 24 hours as well as managing fuel economy to limit stops. Nobody can run a high-strung engine for 24 hours reliably. The GT-1 Corvettes never had that kind of power either, with an even larger engine.

I’m not a ford fan and I’m just as tired of the nauseating repetition of the bullshit Ford/Ferrari rivalry ( which seriously ended in the ‘60's people, for fucks sake. ) as anyone else. I just feel that the Corvette the Porsche and the Aston Martin can’t improve much more with the limitations placed on them, but the

I’ve been very surprised by how much more entertaining the Copa has been than the Euro. It seems like nobody actually wants to win the Euro, they all just want to not lose. Euro 2012 in Poland/Ukraine was better IMO.

So... I didn’t see the game and given the comical scoreline I have to ask: Did the Mexico fans litter the pitch with garbage after the first goal, or did they have enough restraint to wait until the second half?

I agree that there was shenanigans all about the place, but the new reg’s disproportionately benefit turbo cars and only 3 cars are built to them ( BMW didn’t race at Le Mans but they have a new car too ), all of which are turbos. That isn’t a coincidence. FIA and the ACO fucked up long before this month began and

Ford has a better shape aerodynamically and likely a more powerful engine ( They have been dialed back too by the rules limiting boost as have Ferrari and BMW ). The new rules have done a poor job of balancing turbo engines with non-turbo engines and that’s the key difference, not BOP during the season.

The BMWs have been faster too, they just have reliability issues and they’ll figure it out eventually.
