“Makes me think of the Maron episode when Marc went on Talking Dead and Hardwick was a flaming shithead. God, I hope no stories like this come out about Marc Maron.”
“I believed that, to borrow an analogy from a friend, if I kept digging I would find water. And sometimes I did. Just enough to sustain me. And when you’re dying of thirst, that water is the best water you’ll ever drink. When you’re alienated from your friends, there’s no one to tell you that there’s a drinking…
I shouldn’t have to say that I don’t hate all men ... but I don’t hate all men.
I didn’t mind the idea of the movie being different. That could have been exciting. I really was looking forward to it, only to agree with the majority of critics. I sat there and felt almost nothing while being theoretically the best audience. The core that needed to be there was missing, it didn’t seem epic, and I…
I agree. I should have picked that version!
That was Janet from The Good Place in Women Gotta Stick Together? Ha, love it! Thanks for the link. :)

It’s Stu spending all his time with old farts at a gas station, Frannie dealing with her horrible mother, Mother Abagail rocking on the porch, and Larry doing blow. Then someone sneezes and the series ends.
My only sadness over The Dark Tower series is I suspect that Idris Elba won’t be attached. I know this was controversial casting, even though I loved it from the beginning, but I think a good portion of us can agree that — having been cast — he didn’t really get his shot to play Roland due to the long list of…
Christine has never been one of my favorites, but when I read it I was a teenager who really related to Arnie’s plight as the bullied kid. There was a passage about it, about how some kids just seem destined to be the person every one takes their anger out on. That was definitely my school experience.
I think I’m going to do that, just go back to reading it, and stop thinking I have to do homework on it. :)
