I’m shocked at the number of women who are convinced he just couldn't have done it. Gilbert Grape isn't going to hug you because you called his ex a bitch.

Now playing

I’ve asked this (rhetorically) before, why doesn’t this site embed trailers in everything they review or promote. Why must I leave this site to look for a trailer on IMDb or YouTube? It seems counter-intuitive. The goal should be to increase engagement and keep people on this site for as long as possible.

Starship. With rock and roll.

I remember reading an interview with him when The Rum Diaries was coming out, talking about how much he idolized Hunter S. Thompson as if that were anything but a massive red flag. Most people eventually grow out of the culture that glorifies overconsumption of booze and drugs; Depp clearly never did.

Let me know when they find Wallace......

Rocky released a song in which he said Ora had a “big mouth,” and claimed that he “jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce.

What’s wrong with doing tributes to Bennett until he dies? Considering the other recent Jez article that suggested that Gaga is “horny” for Bennett, why can’t we all just accept that Bennett is a music legend, especially for standards-lovers like Gaga, and deserves his accolades now that he’s no longer able to perform

I’m plus sized and have some shapewear that I really like. It doesn’t make me look smaller, and that’s not what I have it for. It just smooths out my cellulite so I’m a little less lumpy. It’s not always about hiding your body, shapewear tends to just make things fit better.

Moonlighting was the first non-kiddy TV show I made a point of watching or at least taping each week back in the day.   Always hoped he’d give us one more comedic role before he hung it up.

Writers and online commenters’ desperation to somehow frame this as an antagonistic white vs black racial thing is hilarious aka fucking gross.

If people are going to fall on the sword of “I have a problem, that’s why I did what I did”, then they’re more responsible than anyone to take care of the problem.  Saying “I’ve got a problem” doesn’t absolve people of responsibility and consequences of their actions.

Yeah, I’m not sure the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has earned Dolly Parton.

i) He deserves it, mainly because he keeps lying about it, so stop making like this is harsh, especially after you yourself said he was ready to throw the 2 guys under the bus.

Does filing for divorce when it becomes clear you can no longer hide your mistress’s pregnancy make you smug or creepy?

Hey, look at what happened *last friggin’ month* to Bridget Fonda after some-20 years of fading into obscurity: a fucking paparazzo figured out where she lived, *staked out her house*, and took photos of her looking like a normal middle-aged mom. She had gained a lot of weight and some of the press were rather cruel

I am more sympathetic, I guess. I think the article is about living with shame, disappointment, and fear of being judged for “letting yourself go.” Look at the recent coverage of Kelly McGillis. Well-known people are not allowed to fall into obscurity when there is news to be made for showing unflattering pictures.

Y’all keep saying Rihanna’s pregnancy style is “unrivaled,” but I don’t think y’all understand that I’ve been out here wearing sweaters that no longer fully cover my stomach unless I continually tug them down, baggy sweatpants, and flats with socks for *months* now.

There’s a hundred different angles you can look at this story from, but both the article and most of these comments aren’t really taking into account how this has actually played out. The IOC itself (not to unilaterally defend the IOC, they’re weird and fucked for any other number of reasons) seemingly wants to ban

I don’t know, I believe hospitality is about doing everything I can to make visitors comfortable in my home. Some might see it as a guest being “demanding”, but I really want people to let me know what would make their visit better. I don’t see having them over as me doing them a favour of some sort that they must

NOPE.
