It’s a riff on the 9/11 “Truthers” claims about the steel beams in WTC 1/2
The modern equivalent is setting off on a road trip with a car that leaks a little oil. Ok, maybe leaks a lot of oil, but you figure you can just stop along the way and fill it back up before anything bad happens. Most of the time, it all works out ok, but when it doesn’t, you are stranded on the side of the highway…
Bullshit. Titanic didn’t sink, it fell of the edge of the earth. #flatearthftw
The smoke would be dwarfed by what is coming out of the stacks. Plus ship bunker fires were expected and nothing to be alarmed about. The world was a different place 100 years ago.

Statue of limitations are not at all unique to rape charges. They exist for just about every crime other than murder. The reason we hear about statute of limitations more often in rape cases is also the reason I agree with you that these restrictions should be lifted: the unique trauma of rape often prevents victims…

“Listening to these stories of older people that are in their 80s and 90s, I felt that we have a responsibility to hear these stories and understand them.”
I’m suprised there aren’t more in the choir doing this. I was under the impression that a lot of Mormons did not care for Trump at all because they’re pretty averse to the whole religious persecution thing. See: Evan McMullin. He’s pretty standard in his views as a Republican, but he’s taking Trump out at the knees…
