“Talk to the hand!” Well, claw in this case.

I thought so too, but for me it’s just meh. It does look very cool, especially in that colour. Haven’t tried the others Lelo has though.

Mom had awesome hair, curls and waves all around. Then she tried to straighten it (fashion, damn you!) and ended up burning it into permanent flat. I inherited both my parents’ hair: the left half of my head tends to curl, the right one is totally flat. I have the worst of both worlds :(.

Christmas in encroaching upon all other holidays here, in Canada, too. We didn’t have the time to buy a pumpkin this year, until early Saturday morning. We never thought they had ALL sold out. We checked 3-4 different stores. They told us they had, even as they were replacing Halloween decorations with Christmas ones.

My great-great-grandmother? (my grandma’s grandma) was one too, or so people said.

Damn, not surprising. Russia had it much worse than Romania.

This is just heartbreaking!

This reminds me of a story of my grandfather in communist Romania. It does include cannibalism - or at least fear of.

Shit, I love La Llorona stories!

That was beautifully written.

OMG, I have so many grandfather, great-grandfather stories like this, from places far removed from civilization. I love them. I keep wondering if stories like this just happened more often/ more naturally in such places or if we just learned to ignore them in our cities full of light and noise. In my case, your jungle

I have never participated before, but I have been waiting for this for twelve months :). I’ll share my story this year. Well, not exactly mine, but my family’s. Here it is:

This. Very much. I had my one and only one night stand and it was in a difficult moment of my life. So I ended up feeling worthless and angry at myself (thank you patriarchy!). I wanted to just get it off my chest and it so happened that dad came to pick me up for the summer holiday. So on our train journey back I

To paraphrase a famous poster from Gawker, “Good job, so called pro-life nuts!”

If only that had been Eva Green......Can you imagine that?
