Personally, don’t believe he’s a threat. I just think the MAGAts or even most Republicans will NOT vote for an Indian guy. I don’t care how much of a useful idiot he is.

I want to think it’s not a typo and Emma really thinks it’s Alexandra. Like people that actually think loose is how lose is spelled.

Wonder how that affects El Salvador. Would they have to default on payments? I think their government bought when it was relatively high. And one would hope they’re mining like the wind if they’re basing their whole economy on it.

I’d think for passengers the detour is nice (unless for some reason it’s a regular work commute). For freight, that could be an issue.

Agree. In a burrito, it doesn’t make much difference. Except maybe when they make a cheese crust and wrap the burrito in it. Or if they use a really pungent cheese like cotija.

PF Chang’s is the one that irks me most. For places that are not diverse, sure. But the packed house with a line waiting for tables at PF Chang’s IN HAWAII, is just crazy to me. I get dipping into McD’s to see their local offering and for a quick convenient snack. But the thought process to plan and then wait at PF

A national chain (that’s not shitty fast food) is when I can tell a neighborhood is fully gentrified.

I reassessed what I wrote and I take it back. Most my faves use Mexican rice. I was thinking King Taco. But then I went last night and it’s red rice.

They definitely seem to be trying to start having the Food Court have profitable items. When all they need to do is “introduce” certain items from other countries that they already serve. Like the bulgogi bake would probably displace the chicken bake in most US markets. Maybe charge a $1 or $2 more than the chicken.

weird hand-cranked dispensers

This is the epitome of stupid.

I was thinking that he bears a decent resemblance, but he doesn’t look as distinctive as his dad. It’s like Goldie’s genes softened him up just enough to look very generic white guy.

I’m not sure it’s a sin of the movie. They were squeezing in the entire comic book arc into a not very long film. I’m sure there were lots of decisions about what side stuff to include and exclude. Plus you say the last volume came out a month before the movie, so yeah, maybe not everything was previewed to the movie

He was a slacker that got everything he wanted introduced to a “slacker generation”.  Honestly I liked the movie’s quirkiness and I hadn’t heard of the comic before I saw it.

I like the interior. Practical buttons so you don’t have to sift through menus to get to climate controls and then back to whatever. Hopefully same for entertainment. Then a screen for apps/nav. Not super into the exterior, but it’s not bad. I’d want the Type S then trade someone for smaller wheels to get my range

Call Me Maybe is so summertime because it’s an earworm, upbeat, happy sounding song. It’s perfect for summer fun. I’ve never like Summertime. A lot of the other songs were hits, but a bit more of a downer (just like Roxette’s song).

You’re right. They’re usually 65"+ these days lol.

I’m a little disappointed that I missed Top Gun Maverick in theaters. I’m glad I caught Spiderman. But you’re right about 80% of movies. There’s no real reason beyond my liking theater popcorn better than microwave popcorn. Except that I tap out at a children’s size in the theater.

Cool! I have a lot of Hawaiian shirts from the month I lived in Hawaii and our work unofficial dress code was Aloha shirts with slacks and dress shoes.

The worst part will be when she has to pay some type of alimony because he’s a personal-trainer-turned-actor.
