I can’t help but chuckle at the “God knows your secret sins” sign. I wonder if the message behind this sign is somehow lost upon these protesters?

I wonder who has the rights to this and the SMB3 cartoon. I’ve noticed the super Mario Bros Super Show and even the Zelda cartoon are on ITunes but not these two shows. They got limited DVD releases years ago but that’s it.
So I finally bit the bullet and built a RetroPie. I can see zero reason to even care abotu this SNES classic now. And no it’s not just that the games on my Pi are free, I’d happily buy a SNE Classic if Nintendo would actually sell me now but like amiibos and the NES classic, they’d rather let scalpers make all the…
A few years ago I was at a classic car show, oggling a 1964 Ford Falcon. I struck up a conversatino with an odler guy there, and he said something that stuck with me. To paraphrase it went to the vein of “You can appreciate and lvoe these old crs, drive them, enjoy them, but if you didn’t grow up with them, if you…
What baffles me is how VC firms keep funding stupid shit like this. I mean how many hundreds of millions of dolalrs do you have to piss away before you become a failure in the VC business?
so I finished setting up my RetroPie and have decided to tearinto soem old stuff I missed as a kid, mainly a string of NES platformers. I’m going to play through Journey to Silius, power Blade 1 and 2, Code Name Viper, and maybe the SNES game Violinist of Hamlin.
I honestly loved the plain vanilla SF2 on Snes, the one this cartridge seems to be based upon. It was simple and fun. all of the turbo and other versions just seemed to add more fluff. I got the original with my SNES for Christmas and still love and play it.
For those who lvoe this series, I’d point out that there were a few really good clones of it back in the 16 bit era. The first is Lagoon which actualyl gave you a sword (albeit a VERY short one) but that minor changed made a huge difference as the initial two Ys games had that infuriating combat where you rammed into…
And not a single republican will utter a word.
I’m ok with it as it is. The game is really the perfect lenght. I’d assume anything cut wasn’t major story stuff but likely fluff and from the limited dev commentary that seems to be the case along with some darker tone stuff. But I think we got the overall game they intended. When I think of SoM being longer i think…
SoM is a masterpiece in evey conceivable way, it’s one of if not the greatest games of all time. It just.......works. The soundtrack is bar none the best ever produced, and the pacing and gameplay are perfect. I played seiken densetsu 3 the day Neil released his translation patch and while it improved nearly…
Damn I didn’t even think abotu that angle. Yeah that sucks that people won’t get that shock. The first time you get Flamey in Matango and fly into the air in that Mode 7 map, it was glorious, it’s probably the most liberating feeling I’ve ever had in a game. It’s like “holy crap look at all of these palces I can go,…
Agreed. This literally looks liek a PS1 game and not in a good way. SoM is a masterpiece, in fact I’d go as far as saying it’s perfect. Even the combat works, once you learn that it’s not just a button masher. This is not the treatment it deserves.
EEEEEEEEw barf. They’re using that fugly ass art style that they used in Adventure of Mana only slightly upgraded. Whoi decided that shit looks good? It didn’t look good in the DS FF4 remake, it sure s hell didn’t look good in Adventure of Mana, so what fool decided it looked good here? Hell even the IOS SoM version…
So how is the Hydro Thunder remake? I loved the Dreamcast one and always wondered why we never got newer games (I know the answer is Because: Sega). Is this one any good? How did it transition to Xbox 360?
Yes I’m fully aware that Sony had BC first and it makes it all the mroe stupid that they dont’ now. Further, I’m also aware of the framework issues between X86 but that’s just poor future planning on Sony’s part. And again Sony has come right out and said it’s a matter of them not caring. So yes even if PS5 is X86…
And it will be a victory for him. This whole thing is a dog and pony show to keep his dipshit base riled up and it will work as it always does.
Everything you said is right but Microsoft have at least created a better customer experience in terms of digital content. If I have a choice to buy a game on PS4 and Xbox One, I’m buying it on Xbox One solely due to the fact I have reasonable belief I’ll be able to paly it on the next console. Sony straight up said…
“Repreentative director” “Prime Advisor” What the hell does any of that even mean? Are those actual job titles? Either way though, when was the last time this guy actuall wa involved in a good game? I’m thinking it’s been at least a decade. And hell other than the newer Ninja Gaiden titles, what did he really do in…
I’m curious about your last statement, as one who owns an Xbox One and PS4. Microsoft for all of their faults has shown that buying content on their system is a safer bet as they’re into BC so next gen odds are your content will work on their new console. Sony outright said they dont’ give a shit and neer will. If I…
