To me, it seemed pretty obvious once Ahsoka showed up that they were going to eventually lead to a team up of everyone in the Mandalorian sphere to fight Thrawn. Between Mando and Ahsoka, everyone on the various shows are connected, and it’ll lead to a Defenders/Avengers-style team up, either as a separate show or as

“I’m far more fascinated by her commitment to shirking any and all responsibility for the accident. Paltrow has maintained that the plaintiff, 76-year-old retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, actually crashed into her”

A Google search seems to show this article as the only time those two words are put together like that, so it seems like this author made up that phrase, for better or for worse.

Isn’t that a Model S in the first tweet?

“The Force Awakens requires that we have Rebels and Imperials, and to get Rebels again we need the New Republic to fail and be bad.”

“I was able to squeeze out nearly 21 mpg on the freeway and commonly saw around 18 mpg in mixed driving. Compared to cars like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R which both get 15 to 18 mpg combined, the NSX is nearly a fuel miser.”

“A slew of benefits come with the membership, but it’ll cost you of course.”

“A one-time $249 fee is required to get the ball rolling. After that, two years in and you’ll be charged $25/month.”

“Once that’s done, she would remove the egg from the hot tub”

It’s a switch, not a button, but yes, iPhones have had that since the OG iPhone back in... 2008, I think?

Given that the battery is usually warrantied for 100K+ miles, odds are decent that most people will probably have a new car before the warranty on the battery runs out.  Those of us that drive a lot, that’s a different story, but the national average range of miles driven per year means that most people probably won’t

“Hyundai specially chooses to focus on physical controls for climate controls and the radio.”

$100 would be on the low end, I think, for a family for 4 to go out to the movies (if you’re getting any concessions) these days. Figure $60-$80 for tickets, and if you get two popcorns and 4 drinks, you’re easily at another $30-$50.

““They don’t trust nobody,” said Mackie.”

Why not?  Should take less than 30 seconds on your phone, no?

My math shows $357,526 for two months divided by 300 employees is $1,191 per employee; that divided by 40 work days (rounding down) in two months comes out to just under $30/day per employee. Not that outlandish if you’re buying a decent lunch for everyone every day.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.  According to a Forbes article from June 2022, it said FTX had 300 employees.  So for September and October that the article talks about, the total spent on Doordash was $357,526.  Divided among 300 employees, that’s $1,191 per employee.  We’ll round down the number of days and

But the actual wheels might fall off, a la Toyota bZ4X!
