I agree. I was pretty disappointed in Selma. Idk if it’s because I actually remember it all, but it just didn’t seem to have the fire of the actual events.
Tarantino is right. Selma gave more of a made for tv vibe than being an overwhelming visual and intellectual work of art, worthy of an Oscar. You don’t know a god damn thing about film. Personally I detest almost all of Tarantinos work as a whole, but the guy knows his way around a camera and how to do some great things while making it look easy when it really is not.
