Nope, you’re all wrong. Carbon Black all the way.

Sure, as a test bed to develop technology that can trickle down to the street, I’m all for it. I just hope they don’t expect to draw much of a crowd. =)

Nobody said racing had to be “all about the drivers.” But if you make it 0% about the drivers, you take away the human drama that makes great racing so gripping. I might as well just watch a Gran Turismo B-Spec race.

No, that’s a GT40. Still awesome, though.

The 916 had a bigger engine (from the 911S) and a fixed roof, but otherwise it was pretty much the same.

There’s no shame in driving a minivan with gusto. My kiddos were stoked when I took them around PIR in my Mazda5, and curvy roads always draw squeals of “Wheee!” from the back seats.

Yes. Personally, I find it comforting that all the drama we have here on Earth is completely insigificant to the rest of the universe.

She appears to have an unnatural relationship with gravity.

I’d basically given up. The best I could hope for is to keep my kids’ actual seats relatively clear of crumbs and crap, but the carpet is a lost cause. I figured it would eventually look like the forest floor, coated with a layer of rich humus and sprouting with ferns and mushrooms.

I once talked to an old lady displaying her E-Type convertible at a car show, and she told me how she used to drive her 3 kids around in it. It was not a 2+2.

Yes, and I’ve designed and drawn them myself. The engineers I work with tend to like us architectural folk better when we collaborate with them on realistic designs rather than just say “make it work.”

There’s more to architecture than conceptual design sketches. I find it hard to believe that Kim worked through all the envelope detailing, materials and systems specifications, fire & egress codes, etc. himself with no architectural training. That’s all design too, and the firm that did it deserves credit.

I don’t get why so many people say the Mazda5 is ugly. I drive a last-gen 5, and while it’s no paragon of automotive beauty, I don’t feel like I need to drive around with a bag on my head.

Not sure how it’s related to gas mileage, but this is clearly a LaForge:

7. Shocktwirler= ECU or computer. Distributor.

For sale: one set of Bova Futura taillights.

I get what you’re after, but what if the “tension” stage is halfway down the drag strip? That would keep the spectacle of a drag launch, plus the drama of competitors trying to out-brake each other into the cones.

Great. Now I won’t be able to take my T33 Stradale out of the garage without attracting a trail of Pokecar Go junkies following me around and salivating on the paint. Thanks a lot, Torch.

There’s rear-engined, and then there’s REALLY rear-engined. That Manx looks like it’s towing the flat six in a trailer.
