I’d agree with your assessment that a number of people didn’t watch it all of the way through.

I think he was better at that when he was younger, Doom Patrol definitely dealt with the characters emotional states, as did Animal Man iirc,  but its not his focus.

I saw this in Vancouver a few months ago. One of the most funny, clever, and touching movies I’ve seen in a long time. I really hope there’s a way to stream or buy this movie at some point.

I was a little too old for this when it came out, and had recently stopped reading Marvel altogether, so have no real ties to the show, good or bad, but my wife liked it, so we watched the first episode of the new series.
