They’ve stopped the practice several years back for that reason. Enough people (both servicemembers and the public) complained that it was stupid and it stopped.

I would honestly say Matrix Reloaded did that more than anything else. The Matrix was a good film. Then they took every wrong lesson from the first film and decided to apply it forward. They just threw enough cool effects on top of a shit film that everyone went anyway... and thus, Hollywood realized people just want

Very unlikely... both because GPS-guided munitions don’t make great boat-killers, and because that’d look SUPER awful for the US if it ever got out. I mean could you imagine the press on that? Good lord.

No mention of Star Citizen/CIG given this article? Probably the most extensive relationship between developer/video game ever. Might’ve been relevant.

This only makes me lust for the time when NFS got semi-serious with its love for cars and cranked out Porsche Unleashed, a rare gem of the series. If they could make anything that good again, I’d swoon and cherish the brand once more......

Doesn’t have to do with taking your hand off the wheel, this was a under-power shift that broke loose the rear end, and the driver didn’t catch it in time.

Speaking of emails, your Aviationist site is screwed up. I’m trying to read the PAK-FA close up article and I can’t get by the survey request. Clicking “take me to the site” just puts me right back at the request to take the survey.

I didn’t realize the Soviets had forgotten their SAM’s had wheels? I guess Soviet armor advances certainly wouldn’t have featured contested airspace, since the Soviets would’ve left their SAM’s at home (considering the “forgotten wheels” and all that...)

To all folks arguing “airframe is old, should be retired”: please see Mr. B-52. Arguments invalid.

MOTORIST KILLED BY PASSING CLOUDS

I mean... what was wrong with them simply doing the normal partnership with the ACTUAL USAF? I mean it was one thing when Paramount couldn’t get real MiG’s for Top Gun during the actual Cold War, but really? They couldn’t get real USAF fighters?

those were the cars in the beginning of 2F2F.

2 Fast 2 Furious. First one had no pink S2000.

I’m sorry, but the push these days from some sites to be completely objective is bullshit. I’ve followed gaming media for the vast majority of my life (‘91+), from the incredibly cerebral and engaging journalism of Johnny Wilson’s Computer Gaming World, to the collective democratized asshatery that is steam reviews.

http://928.jorj7.com/mpeg/devek-rac… if you want to do it reliably? Get a 928. Stock gears run out at 260mph @ 7000rpm (2.2 final drive), and you can achieve 209mph with only about 450hp. In this car, that hp number (reliably) is as easy as a $5000 supercharger kit. Hell, at $12k you can do a 650whp TT kit. An 87+ 928

Came here to say this. It's got a big wingspan but that's it. It's not even THAT much larger a wingspan than other present large aircraft...

I'm confused as to how this happens, exactly. Where on your car loan was there a box for 'race'? I don't remember specifying anything about my demographics besides my name, title, and occupation.

There's also just the time-old classic: "because it would take too long, and you wouldn't understand anyway". It may be totally dickish, but it's generally true.

This doesn't sell because it doesn't look good. It looks bad. You design a boring looking extreme car? You don't understand your demographic...
