I have the same question others have posted... could they possibly be channeling their characters? I've never read the book so I'm not sure what their 'chemistry' with one another is supposed to be like. Are they super hot for one another? Or are they unlikely partners (as their pictures would indicate) who are caught

Crap. I guess I'm older than I thought. I think I read it in Glamour or Seventeen in the early 80's!

I used to do this with a tea bag and clear nail polish. It worked well though it sometimes didn't look very smooth when I applied nail polish over it. But it would keep it from splitting more and let it grow to a decent length where I could trim the whole thing down.

She'd be very happy in my house. No one there would recognize her either.

Avril Lavigne was never rock & roll. She's a pop star. Strictly Top 40. Nothing more, nothing less.

Ha! I've heard my mom say the same thing; she asks what she could've ever done that was wrong (fully expecting us to say she's done nothing wrong) and when we tell her honestly what we think she's done wrong she denies doing/saying it, she deflects and turns it around and brings up something else that has nothing to

This is the "legacy" that Phylicia Rashad says needs to be protected?

I felt bad for Aidan because he loved her and it wasn't mutual. She shouldn't have reunited with him just to break his heart again.

The kid was upset she wouldn't be able to compete in Final Jeopardy; completely understandable. But it's Alex Trebek's responsibility to console her? Sorry, but I just see an overbearing mother here. It's too bad your kid didn't make it. I'm sure she knew the rules going in and it's really unfortunate. But it happens.

Oh, that would be wonderful. I find the articles hard to get through with all of the ridiculous nicknames being used.

Nah, that guy's forehead is too big.

I don't know that I'd call Charlie Crist a 'well respected Democratic...' etc. But, he's a hell of a lot better than Dick Scott and he will get my vote. All he needs to run on is the "I'm not Scott" platform and that should be enough.

Funds should be raised for the awareness of the simple laws of physics.

Interesting. Growing up in NYC, a plain slice was just called 'a slice' as in 'Lemme have a slice and a (whatever beverage)'.

You have to ask for it black with some cream on the side. I like DD's coffee, but I hate how they always want to fix it up for me.

I thought it was like that everywhere; in NYC (before the advent of places like Starbucks) regular meant with cream and sugar. I don't know if it's still like that. I went into a So FL Dunkin' Donuts last week and the lady in front of me asked for a regular coffee and they put cream and sugar in it. I prefer to do my

I always give money as wedding gifts. Always.

The very worst thing about that show wasn't the name dropping, Charlotte's bad acting, Carrie's inability to figure out relationships, or Miranda's personality.. the worst thing about that show was when they showed the ladies dancing. Or shall I say, 'trying to dance'. I've never seen such rhythmically challenged

Still don't get what it is I'm supposed to find attractive about Adam Levine. He'a bit of a ferret face.

The only two books on that list that I read/tried to read were The Great Gatsby (couldn't get past the first chapter) and The Goldfinch.. which I read the whole way through and loved. I will probably read it again someday.
