If you think the IP isn’t strong enough to sell tickets without a celebrity attached, then why are you even making it?

The whole reason these companies look to anime is because of the name recognition, but it’s still so obscure for a general audience that it might as well have been a new IP. And the fans of the source material don’t want a live-action version, so you’re not getting them either. It doesn’t make any sense.
Your mom is cute.
I see someone needs a fucking nap.
I feel like all these problems with YouTube could be solved, or at least mitigated somewhat, if they just told people what the fuck they’re doing. They seem to be almost allergic to transparency, and it’s gonna end up seriously hurting them in the long run. They roll out these huge changes with no warning and no…
FFS Motoko doesn’t even have a real body, so there is no “asian” to whitewash.
I see someone’s being a pedantic little shit.
Oh, God, that’s even worse. It’s not even that they couldn’t get the rights to the music, they literally just put it in the wrong spot.
I see someone didn’t watch SAC.
For me at least, it’s more that the director straight-up lied about including the original music. He even showed off the shelling sequence with the music from the anime, and yet in the movie itself, it’s been replaced with a generic synth track.
From what I understand, there is no Kanno/Kenji Kawai music in the film, even though the director said that the opening (which is a shot-for-shot remake of the opening to the 1995 anime) would have the Kawai score, and even showed it off with that music accompanying it.
“Improved” =/= “Fixed”
The Switch version in general seems to be identical to the Wii U in terms of visuals. The only difference is that the Switch runs at 900p in docked mode, as opposed to 720p on Wii U and in handheld mode. I assume the lower resolution eases the processing load enough that the Switch can run at a smoother framerate,…
I’m not saying you’re lying, just that the extent of the improvement seems to vary for different people. It seems like the drops are fixed more in handheld mode, at least.
It doesn’t fix all of them. This video shows that some areas still have issues.
“Pro” and “birth” have positive connotations, though. Even though “forced” is negative, the overall term is still mostly positive. It’s the same reason they frame themselves as “pro-life”; it makes them seem like the good guys, because who would ever be against life? I think “anti-choice” is a better term, because…
That is... not the tone I thought they’d be going for.
Dear buy-ENRON,
