This. My old roommate leased a new Camry for $140 a month for 3 years, which happens to be right on target at $5,040. All the amenities, piece of mind, appearance of not being broke, and included maintenance with a lease. After 3-4 years of grad school the $5K near-junker will be an actual junker.

Did you even read the first sentence of the article before commenting? I’m going to guess not.. The guy is in med-school which means he has already gone through a 4 year degree program.

Just because you want a manual and rough ride in your daily doesn’t make you anymore of a “Jalop” or car enthusiast, please get off your high horse.

A “supposed Jalop” who daily’s a 981cs and who wouldn’t ever choose the lack of amenities of the 987 for a daily in traffic. Get one of those for the weekend if you’re so inclined.

Comparing different cars may not have the best route to go with this as people perceive value between cars differently as well as options on a car.. Maybe you should add in the article something along the lines of:

Two dealers have an identical car. One has a cash rebate, the other has a 0% interest rate. Or compare

If you’re spending the majority of your time as commute, with traffic... a go kart is no fun.

I wonder how often low number plates get stolen. Sure the guy paid $5MM, but that’s for the registration of the plate, not the plate itself. I would imagine some assholes just go around trying to “collect” the lowest numbers.

The 987 is a very bland/dated interior and technology. If you’re looking for casual every day public use, the 981 base would be the way to go with minor convenience options like PCM, Sport Seats, and infotainment.

How tall/big are you?! My 6'7" friend has driven 7 hours in my 981 no problem.

People who want a 6 cylinder two seat sports car for a reasonable price.

Aka, people who don’t want:
4 doors (Evo, WRX, Focus, SS, etc)
2 doors but 4 seats (Gen Coupe, Mustang, Camero, Challenger, etc)
4 cylinders (Miata, Fiat, GT-86)

Here’s a local dealer to me that has THIRTEEN 2016s listed over 60k right now.. Spot on description As Du Volant.

Is no one going to mention that hitting the 3 series very well may have saved the M3 driver’s life? After hitting the 3 series, his car still spun all the way to the wall. If he hit that wall head on at speed.....

Glad everyone came out alright.

I’d recommend borrowing or renting a 2.3EB for a weekend. A few months ago I had one as a loaner car for 2 weeks and was thoroughly unimpressed. At first it seemed alright, but there is noticeable lag, weak steering feedback and in general it far unperformed my expectations. I had a far better time in a Macan loaner

As someone who does have access to that data... the general consumer is not as low-income or have as poor-credit as you would think. Walmart has a focus on convenience (one stop shopping) and savings.

Adding the convenience of a CarSaver kiosk in the store adds to the consumer experience. Walmart is already a

I wish they would stop it with sticking tablets in a cubby top of the dash.

No need to standardize batteries if we can just standardize charging and plug availability. This allows manufactures to place batteries anywhere in the vehicle, any shape, and optimize the vehicle. Physical standardization within the vehicle will actually be a limiting.

Swapping batteries also opens up the chain of

Where are you guys counting 110?

Trailer section has 12 x 8 = 96
Cab has 2 front, 8 rear, and 2 spares that you don’t count = 10
For a total of 106 wheeler

Solid article with one exception “zero percent financing for 84 months. The first part is good; the second, not so much.”

The 2nd part is actually even better. If you’re given the option of a 60 month 0% loan or an 84 month 0% loan, you should almost ALWAYS take the 84 month if you can afford either monthly payment.

It’
