To each their own, but that’s just a different way of completing the same task. No matter how you phrase it, you are carrying a phone and a ticket, vs. just a phone. You have to put that ticket away while you walk to your gate/wait to board and pull it back out when it’s time to board - exactly as you would be doing

I think you are mistaking “staring at a phone” with quickly unlocking to scan & then putting it away. It saves paper and is the way of the future - whether you like it or not, you will be forced to do this for all airlines soon.

This is on you to make sure that no one is there. Move your head to check blind spots or don’t drive.

Completely agree with the international statement - can’t get around that.

Also, you can take your paper pass with you through your security scan. You can’t take your phone, it has to go through X-ray separate.”

I believe most apps automatically do this (can vouch for the Delta app).

Am I missing something with how difficult it is to use these apps? I use the Delta app for most flights and it is smooth as butter - sign in with finger print & it pops right up with the screen at max brightness. All I have to do is swipe for all of the additional tickets.

Could not agree more.

Not always true actually. Some manufacturers cover them under their bumper to bumper new car warranty. BMW actually has a great warranty and will replace a burnt out bulb under their 4yr/50k warranty.

Possible that these concerns are negated by the fact that even the base Teslas are over 250 miles in range and can be fast charged to 150+ miles in 15 minutes? Cops need breaks right?

The Ranger seems to be holding up well with it’s 2.3 4-pot. All the reviews seem to indicate that it’s an exceptional towing machine, even close to it’s rated output.

I vote 8. Drove a modern BMW with the ZF 8 speed and it was hands down the best transmission I’ve ever driven.

100% agree. This is not being talked about enough.

I really appreciate Toyota for how dependable they are, but that’s really all you get out them. They’re not really great at anything - just adequate. The powertrains are low stress and almost never best in class (which I’m sure is one of the main reasons they are so damn reliable).

I honestly don’t agree with your blanket statement of all Minnesotans. The people here are not lazy, they’re just cheap.

A good set of winter tires will solve this problem. Electric cars also have a low center of gravity & great weight distribution which helps a lot on snow/ice. It’ll be much better than a typical RWD ICE car in the winter.

Agreed. Seems more apples to apples given power output, equipment and price.

You can probably get away with that on old trucks, but modern vehicles store the mileage in multiple modules to prevent that very thing from happening. Not to mention the layers of security built in to prevent tampering.

Totally understand if it doesn’t work for your situation, but there is a little farting around - oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, carb cleaning. All things you don’t need to do with an electric.

Sounds like you have intelligent neighbors.
