The V1 is the best. I have own many RD before the V1 and they where all junk.

You need a good tripod. I use the Trekpod Go Pro about $180. You can use it as a mono-pod, tripod. mount your camera on end, hold the other end and you can film yourself like Les Stroud (Survivorman).

this assumes the machine is correct. Here in Arizona we have had many occurrences when the speed camera was wrong. never trust a machine.

Google maps, satellite view and street view rocks. On vacation last summer in Hawaii. My Garmin GPS would always get me there but only satellite view can some me where the parking lot is located and street view would show me which drive way to enter and which drive way was exit only.
