I know how that goes. I live in an apt and do all the work in the parking lot. I think its safe to say no one will ever buy a VW cuz all they see is me working on it haha. I also currently dont have a dipstick. It snapped so i plugged the hole up with a little rubber vacuum cap. I figured I would just replace it when

I've driven around with rotors that were warped baadd. Thats about it tho. Other than that its usually catastrophic failure that i need to fix immediately.

I agree with better public transportation. I grew up in rural NY, then went to college in Detroit, but when I spent 6 months in the Chicago area, it was great. If I didn't want to drive, I could hop on the train or get on the bus (great if youre going to the bars). I love to drive, but if I could drive because I

I was being tailgated by him one day cuz my wagon is so small and dumb and needs to get out of the way. Of course, when the road went to 2 lanes, and he tried to pass, I introduced him to Mr. Turbo, and he got back behind me.

I know what you're saying, but I have to agree with the money thing tho. The only people my age that are driving new cars are people whose parents bought it for them because used cars are bad/dangerous/unreliable/etc (all false of course). I mean, I even have a job, but in no way could afford a car. After

I was thinking the same thing. You gotta be on your balcony holding a calendar haha

I live in an apt complex where its a bunch of small buildings with like 4 apts in each and I've seen a few Volts and I was thinking the same thing. They can't charge it at home...

Like most have stated, I agree that its more engaging, I think you pay more attention to the road and how you drive, and there's for sure an increased safety factor in it.

See I was thinking the proportion of this looks more like an A3 than a traditional golf/hatchback.

I'm on board with the Audis using them. They're tasteful and look good. But pretty much any other cars that have them look pretty bad. Mercedes and Porsche especially look like they went to autozone and bought the strip of them for 20 bucks.

Apple actually patented the color white. They're putting together a lawsuit to sue everyone.

Absolutely. I'd rather have a lighter car with half the hp than a camaro or challenger with 400 hp.

I agree, especially if they still want to keep with the whole "drivers car" mantra. I would love that to happen tho. More efficiency, and more fun.

I hope you're right. But I have a bad feeling they'll just keep adding batteries and technology to try and up fuel economy even tho cutting weight is the easiest thing to do.

O nice, congrats on the new car. I'm glad someone is in agreement with me. Its leaps and bounds over having a flower holder on the dashboard. Still think it'd be cool if it went back to rear engine.... but that's a dream i know will never come true lol

See and I like this new beetle alot. They chopped the top, made it a little more manly, and it almost reminds me of a type 3 fastback... I would totally drive one.

+1

Yea I've gotten the Amor-All gift set thing probably 3 times. From the same family member. I've never used it.

Dont get me wrong, I like the explorer, its a great looking car. My point was more about how people automatically run to an SUV or Crossover cuz they're not properly informed, or are misinformed about how great an SUV is compared to a car. I think a true SUV can have its place, but 75% of the people that own them

Well.. A Taurus is car, which means its small and unsafe. But an SUV is so much safer and larger! I can haul everything!
