“I like when they say a movie is inspired by a true story, it means the movie is not a true story... Like, hey Mitch, did you hear the story about that lady who drove her children into the river and they all drowned? Yes I did, and it inspired me to write a movie about a gorilla!” — Mitch Hedberg

A little-known secret to pricing builds like this is that a fair price is arrived at by adding up everything you spent and then tacking on a 20% profit.

Many countries I have been in have a greater culture of collective good and collective responsibility. We do not and it shows.

I WISH the US would adopt more roundabouts. I lived in Palm Desert for almost 7 years and they had a couple of roundabouts in higher traffic areas, and it just flowed so nicely.

I often come across people who for whatever reason don’t like to be passed.”

My local track sells 100 octane lead free. Race cars don’t need higher octane unless their engines are built to make use of it. Ban all leaded fuel and see what happens. What would happen in reality is people would simple detune their engines to run on 100 octane lead free.

That’s not a stupid question, because one almost never sees a truck that color.

... and as gets pointed out here regularly on NPND, for the most part, all of those modifications are worth somewhere between very little and zero when it comes time to sell.

Do Motorcycles count for this?

I have a Honda VTX Tourer, which, whilst being a V-Twin cruiser, actually has a rather unique look (perhaps that’s more apparent to me than a random bystander). Two I’ve gotten:

- Is that an Indian? (Should note, it has rather prominent “HONDA” logos on the decorative side-panels, the

I’m not superstitious, but if I had to choose an airline during this wave of the pandemic, I think the one named “Delta” would be by last choice.
