The Terror is excellent. Carrion Comfort is hot garbage that is not helped by the fact that it has aged like milk.

I’ve read several books this year, but most were disappointing (Library at Mt. Char) or straight up bad (Carrion Comfort).

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is one of my all-time favorite books. It is a bit of a challenge though, so kudos.
