Playing hardball, bringing guns to a gunfight, and not “keeping their powder dry” would have been plenty for the Dems to have prevailed over the years. The reluctance of Dems to fight as hard as they can is why the GOP have prevailed.

The best bit is that it’s the Republican party that campaigns on fighting voter fraud (the kind that apparently isn’t happening).

I’ve been talking about how wrong the Democratic party’s silence on all these voter suppression schemes have been. I see no evidence that the party has learned much if anything. They wait until it’s an election year because they want Black votes but not enough to stand up for our right to vote when it’s not an

How well hung are we talking?

The problem is the Dems keep trying to be the “ethical” party.. that only works when your opponent is going to play by the rules..

Just saying, man, the courts have repeatedly backed up gerrymandering. I disagree that Democrats should “play dirty.” We should push for fair, equal elections rather than using the same underhanded tactics. I think Democrats should push to eliminate gerrymandering altogether and to have impartial, non-political boards

I hope every news report on the “National Emergency” pairs it up with a picture of Donald Trump on the damned golf course.

Republicans didn’t just cheat in North Carolina. I bet if you start looking into it where Republicans win you will find lots of fraud. Florida and Georgia would be good places to start. Really shows you how terrible Democratic leadership is that Republicans are doing stuff like this for decades with little to no

Gotta love this Harris clown.  Loses a close race in 2016, and someone points out to him “hey, you may have lost that election due to fraud, you should probably do something about it”.  And instead of investigating and fighting it, his response is “Damn, why didn’t I think of that?!”  So he goes out and hires the guy

The most disappointing thing about the Trump era is learning just how awful most of this country is: how we were never that great to begin with and yet we’ve still fallen ridiculously far.

What kind of sad ass officer do you have to be to arrest a sixth grader for resisting without violence?

What kind of sad ass teacher do you have to be to call the cops because a kid embarrassed you in your class? Union (which I’m sure she hates) might be the only thing that can save her now.

I wouldn’t go *that* far - Weiner is a serial sex offender, after all, and it’s valid to ask if he’s really learned anything or if his punishment was indeed too light generally - but yeah, this article’s tone is troubling, and in general I don’t think it’s a benign direction for the party to be heading in.

That being said, I also hate to remind everyone that someone being an idiot and making an election not go the way you wanted it to go is not actually an additional crime.

Of course Trump is unqualified for the Presidency. Is this a surprise to anybody? But if you make the argument that it is *solely* due to his Epstein adventure - then Bill was just as unqualified.

You really don’t understand how absolutely fucked-up and criminal Goldman Sachs is, do you? Or how dangerous it is to have top members of the Democratic Party in their back pocket?

‘single-handedly upended the election’?  Holy fuck what the fuck are you talking about?

Yeah, kinda hard to place blame on Weiner when considering other factors, like the media’s obsession over Trump, and the fact that Clinton basically checked out towards the end coupled with Comey’s bullshit.

While I dislike Trump as much as the next fellow, I don’t think any one thing can actually be blamed for him being president.
