I agree, it has a nice interior for $60k. But if you factor in everything else you’re getting for $60k it makes the interior look impressive. You might find a slightly nicer interior at that price point, but look at everything else you get.

“Because Musk had a reputation as a manufacturing genius,...”
Shadow gray, Z51, 2LT, magnetic ride, should still be under $75k
Superlative, funny you say that-
But what you still fail to understand is that it’s not a rank order, it’s a classification. Everybody in 8th grade is not smarter than everybody in 7th grade just because they made it further.
You are failing to realize that “safest” is an absolute. Was it given the highest rating? Yes, 5 out of 5 stars. So it is AMONG the safest. It achieved the highest rating on their scale. But nowhere did they say that it beat every other car they tested.
What’s funny is when older people would tell me my first car was “triple black” because of the vinyl top with black paint and interior.
To attract millennials, C8 will have a vape tray. And for hipsters, a spittoon.
Even with the Camaro LT1, they aren’t what they used to call “stripper” cars. Would be nice if they were. Skip the sound deadening, leather, power options, upgraded stereos, etc etc etc. Knock about 200# out of the car.
C7s don't have the back up sensors, just the camera
The Vector W8. Great looking car, incredible performer. But-
The other cars have option boxes as well. They all add up
Yep. Down to 15% even for the ZR1. Don’t blame GM for not giving the people what they CLEARLY DON’T WANT.
At one point the PT cruiser was a hot car. They couldn’t make enough of them. Same when the new beetle came out.
A dealer near me had a Raptor marked up almost $30k plus extras that were added because it was ordered for Brian Urlacher.
I’d be more impressed is it was on a road course. That’s what it’s built for
Sure, you can take your Corvette (Supra) drag racing...
They really don't. It's not like it's 6" away from where it would normally be. It's right there
All of this “it’s not a Corvette because...” talk is just ridiculous. They said the same thing when they went to exposed headlights, when they didn’t have round taillights, I’m sure people complained when they stopped offering side pipes.
The pads gripped fine, that's why the wheels were locked up.
